Abstract

This research is concerned about the study: Adverbial clauses in Ibn Darag Al-Kastaly Poetry. This study dealt with the means that provide coherence to the basic structure level (The verbal means) and emphasizing how these linguistic tools worked and showed the relations between the verbal and significant conjunctions which is the real aim for the overall text coherence in Ibn Darag Al-Kastaly Poetry.
The study is concerned with Ibn Darag’s poems application because of the literary wonderful weight he has. The study tackled the adverbs and their functions, their kinds and the pronouns structures and for the relative clauses.
Using adverbial clause is one of the most basic verbal relations that enhance the solid unity of the text and these factors (pronouns, demonstrative and relative conjunctions) help in achieving the connection between the text consequences what helps effectively in the text harmony and connections.
Using the pronouns is one of the most frequent cases in Ibn Darag Al-Kastaly poetry and the internal one was much more frequent than the other cases.
The study depended on a number of references and sources that are mentioned at the end of the study.
