Abstract

Abstract:
the climatic elements are considered one of the main factors that contribute to determining the specifications of the urban buildings. The influence of the climate in the cities of Aswan and Alexandria has a significant role in working to provide comfortable climatic conditions for humans, especially in extreme climatic areas throughout the year. Accordingly, people resort to the appropriate urban design in every climatic zone separately. The design of the buildings depends on the internal and external climate to achieve thermal balance and maintain the level of humidity in a way that suits human comfort and stability.
When designing a house, engineers take into consideration the climatic characteristics in orienting the house, choosing building materials, and determining the direction of the winds because the exterior of the house remains exposed to the prevailing weather conditions directly, causing a notable effect on the human comfort.
