Abstract

The Nawazil al-Qiyar al-Wancharisi is considered one of the most important Nawazil jurisprudential blogs in the Islamic Maghreb. It included several fatwas and issues related to the social life of the Islamic Maghreb society. The history of Muslim societies, although it is jurisprudence.

Perhaps what Nawazil Al-Wancharisi has dealt with is one of the most important social groups in the Islamic Maghreb, which has an important position to study and search for, and they are the “dhimmis,” as these jurisprudential texts left us a great legacy for that group from a social point of view, such as customs and traditions, in addition to the interaction between Muslims and dhimmis within the Islamic Maghreb. All this allowed Al-Wancharisi to convey to us a realistic picture of society in different periods determined by the nature and place of the calamity. Through the research, the reality of the social life of the dhimmis in the Islamic Maghreb was presented.
