The study dealt with the nature of the Sudanese military institution, which went through many organizational developments in the period (1958-1989 AD), where Britain planted the Western doctrine in the hearts of the Sudanese forces, and after the independence of Sudan, the doctrine was formulated as its principles according to what the political and military leadership saw, and the military doctrine was unified after 1983 AD With a sacred belief such as the protection of the people and the homeland and the unity and security of its lands, all tribal, sectarian, and racist associations prevailed within the armed forces, and the belief of belonging to the one homeland emerged as an alternative to these affiliations.
The armed forces sought to develop themselves by diversifying the sources of weapons from the eastern camp (the Soviet Union) and the western camp led by (the United States), and it sometimes shrunk and the Sudanese army expanded and established sections and branches within the armed forces and worked to raise the efficiency of the combatant individual. The Armed Forces, the military way of life, and the opening of media outlets such as the Armed Forces Newspaper. Financial systems have been set up that are characterized by accurate control over salaries and wages, and the purchase of military equipment and machinery. An annual budget has been allocated to control and monitor aspects of military spending for the financial and accounting system
