Abstract

TThe research deals with the relationship between the Fatimid state and the country of Nubia, by studying it analytically through clarifying and analyzing the type of relations that exist between them. In the year 361 AH 972 AD, Jawhar al-Suqaili sought the help of the Nubian commander (Bashara al-Nubi) to put down the revolution of Abd al-Aziz bin Ibrahim al-Kilabi, and during the reign of the Fatimid caliph al-Muizz li Din Allah, his army became composed of sects of Nubians, each division attributed to its leader, as this relationship was represented in commercial transactions And the transfer of trade between Egypt and Nubia via the Nile River, and the Fatimid state also benefited from the Nubians in the field of agriculture, cooking food in the palaces of the caliphs, raising children, and in guarding the doors of the Fatimid palaces, where the Nubians were characterized by honesty and courage, and the relations between the Fatimids and the countries of Nubia witnessed a period From calm, stability and successful diplomatic relations, and from that we conclude that the Nubians were mixed with the Egyptians in the Fatimid era, and the Nubians had a great influence in the political and economic aspects and social aspects.
