Abstract

The Egyptian state paid attention to the existence of health care for workers as well as animals accompanying mining missions in the past, whether in quarries or mines, including the Ayn Soukhna site missions.

- Mention of the title of "Chief Physician" in Sinai inscriptions dating back to the era of King "Amenemhat III" of the Middle Kingdom. -A graffiti text of a person called "Hreshef Nakht" who works as a doctor, It was found in the Hatnoub quarries in the Minya region.

- mention of the name of a person called ity ir (w) n Ast "Itti Ibn Aiza" and Sd-wHawt works as a "scorpion repellent", whose mission is to treat scorpion stings, by engraving "King Amenemhat" in Ayn Soukhna.

-The state has also taken care of the presence of veterinary care for the animals. accompanying the mission, whether they are used to transport raw materials, supplies and water, such as donkeys, or those used to feed workers, such as cows and goats, and this is represented in the following:

-Finding in Ayn-Soukhna area the remains of animal bones of domestic animals such as cows, goats, and sheep, stoves for preparing food, stone knives used in cutting operations, a group of pottery molds used in the baking industry, indicating the cooking of animal meat inside the site.

-The title of chief chef is mentioned within the Sinai inscriptions.

- Mentioning a list of meat provided to workers in an inscription of King "Amenemhat the Third" in the Sinai inscriptions.
