Abstract

The study in this research sheds light on the development of the building materials and refractories industry in the Upper Egypt region through several factors, the most important of which are the number of facilities, the number of workers, and the value of the invested capital. Data over a period of thirty years (1990-2019), with the aim of identifying the historical stages of these industries, what these industries followed, and the reasons for the activity of some of them and the disappearance of others.The study in this research sheds light on the development of the building materials and refractories industry in the Upper Egypt region through several factors, the most important of which are the number of facilities, the number of workers, and the value of the invested capital.
