Ellipsis in the Al - Mutanabi's cavouryats

Abstract

The term and concept of Syntax Symptoms was not absent from The books of ancient and modern grammarians Sibawayh is the first to speak of the term Symptoms and he spoke of Ellipsis Symptoms.

The original in the speech is the male and the Ellipsis is only by evidence, Al – Mutanabi was professional in using and employing Symptoms and metaphors as they have great influence in attracting the reader's attention , the Ellipsis is the most beautiful phenomenon in Arabic rhetoric there were many pictures of Ellipsis in the Al - Mutanabi's cavouryats such as omitted the beginner or the Alkhabar in the nominative sentence, omitted the object, or the verb, omitted the distinction, or the adverb, omitted the Mudaf, omitted the calling letter or the preposition.

This study indicates that Al – Mutanabi omitted Beginner which means the beginning of sentence , also he omitted Alkhabar and Mudaf elie due to the variety of verses they are used at .
