Abstract

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of the Egyptian elite towards media management of crises related to national security through the management of the water security file. single.

The study concluded that the elite are keen to follow the issue of water security permanently, and to be exposed to it more than once a day because it contains interactive tools through which the elite expresses its vision of these issues, and that the "issue of the Renaissance Dam" topped the most prominent issues of water security, then "regional and international conflicts over gas and oil,” as these issues represented a great danger to the Egyptian society. The most prominent political and security risks were the entry of "Egypt into regional and international conflicts due to the greed of some countries in the waters of the Nile River and the wealth of the Mediterranean, in addition to harming Egypt's share of the Nile waters." Ethiopia's negativity and intransigence in the negotiations with the Egyptian side, focusing on the statements of government officials, and indicated that the media did not give the issue sufficient attention in dealing with it, and that the press websites had informed the public of the negative effects that could occur as a result of completing the filling and operation of the dam.
