Aswan was a city of great importance and constituted a large base for operations related to all campaigns against Sudan, which were led by the powerful pharaohs, where all the supplies and supplies necessary for each campaign were carried with the soldiers that were transported from the ships that carried them to the first waterfall, and it was natural from the leaders and deputies of the king in Kush wanted to stop in Aswan and loved residing in it from any other region, and by virtue of their job as deputies of the king, they supervised the work of everything and anywhere from the state’s property, and they sent taxes and tribute to the capital, and under their supervision, buildings were built, both military and civil, and military operations, and this is what we see clearly in the inscriptions And the scenes we see them present in the presence of the kings while they strike their enemies, and therefore it is possible that they resided in Aswan for long periods and supervised the strategic civil and religious works that the region needed.
