The Thousand and One Nights has been a text of preoccupation since attention was drawn to its manuscripts, their diversity, and what was added to them, passing through the history of the text, its origin, its translations, and its impact on world cultures, leading to the multiplicity of its readings, in line with the emergence of human sciences curricula, especially modernity and beyond, in a phenomenon that was not available to any other human text.
This study uses cultural analysis to reveal the diversity of the cultural patterns of One Thousand and One Nights, and explains the meanings of its symbols and signs, and the ways in which meanings are formed and synthesized. And that it rises to being a human heritage for humanity despite its Arabic birthplace, and its equation with a popular Arabic text that is destined for a prominent creative position. In it, the texts of the nights are not sufficient or definitive, as each sub-title included in the research can expand to other research. Because the nights still need more exploration and research of the methodology of the human sciences, which is developing according to the data of the present.
So the research searches for cultural geography and cultural diversity, the title, the significance of diversity, the threshold of the text and the diversity of the format, the diversity of cultural spaces, the diversity of communication mechanisms, the diversity of gender, the diversity of class, the religious diversity, the text process, the reception and reproduction.
