Abstract

The study mainly aimed to identify the role of the media in shaping the public attitudes of the residents of the governorates (Luxor and Aswan) towards the Presidential Initiative for a decent life, by knowing the motives of the study sample and their interests in following up the news of the Decent Life initiative and the extent of their awareness of the goals of the initiative. It is one of the descriptive studies that used the survey method on a sample of the general public from the population of the said governorates, which amounted to ( 500) individuals and concluded a set of results, including that one of the behavioral effects produced by this follow-up is to be among the volunteer work teams of the Decent Life initiative and that most of the respondents are waiting until and that more than two-thirds of the sample confirmed that the most important effects The sentiment left by their follow-up to the initiative is their sense of pride and pride in the state's attention to the conditions of citizens and their keenness to improve their standard of living, and social networking sites topped the most important media outlets that follow the initiative through the study sample.
