The Morphological and Syntactical Terminology of Al-Farabi: A Study in the Lexicon of Anthology of Literature

Abstract

This study deals with (The morphological and syntactical terminology of Al-Farabi: a study in the lexicon of anthology of Literature). The study is divided into an introduction, a preface, two main sub-studies, a conclusion, and a reference list. The introduction presents the problem of the research, its significance, method, and the study dimensions. The preface tackles the linguistic and technical meaning of the word terminology. In addition, it highlights a brief autobiography of Al-Farabi and a definition of the lexicon of anthology of Literature. The first sub- study investigates the morphological terminology in Al-Farabi lexicon of anthology of Literature. Moreover, the second sub- study explains the syntactical terminology in Al-Farabi lexicon of anthology of Literature. The conclusion summarizes the main findings of the study. Finally, the study ends with a list of references. Such as:

Al-Farabi combined the terminology of Kufa and its analogues, the terminology of Basra in many places, although he used to repeat the term of Kufa more than the term of Basra, as in the term of the future verb that he mentioned more than 49 times, and the term of the present tense that he mentioned once, which indicates his tendency to the doctrine of Kufa .
