Abstract

The melody and error in reciting the Noble Qur’an are among the most dangerous things facing the Book of God Almighty. The phenomenon of melody has spread in the recitation of the Qur’an, ancient and modern, by the common people and elites, from the Islamic era to the present day, and scholars have combined efforts to address this phenomenon. This is because the melody has a great impact on distorting the words and corrupting the meanings, contrary to what God wants and what the Qur’anic context requires. This research comes within the framework of the exerted efforts; To address the phenomenon of melody in the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, of which the most dangerous and common is “melody in the exits of letters and their characteristics”, and to contribute to preserving tongues from slipping in it; Where he is exposed to the common mistakes among the readers of the Qur’an in this regard, and the consequent change in the meaning. The exits are the places from which the letters come out: such as the throat, lips, and tongue. Its characteristics: They are the forms by which the letters are distinguished from each other when they exit the mouth: such as whispering and aloud. The melody in it is represented in replacing one letter with another letter, which may converge with it in the exit or adjective, or may diverge, is like replacing the tha with sina as in “itham” (al-Baqarah). :173) The reader may pronounce it (noun), ,
