Abstract

This research deals with the subject of the verses on the mind in the Holy Qur’an, their significance and jurisprudential dimensions. God - Blessed and Most High - has made the mind an adornment of mankind, and it is based and the place of its assignment by the Sharia, the glue, and it is what the Holy Qur’an has guided to and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, has made clear, and it is among the topics of this Holy Qur’an. The research is entitled: (The verses of reason in the Holy Qur’an, their significance and jurisprudential dimensions).

I divided the research into: an introduction, and two sections. In the introduction, I dealt with: the definition of the mind linguistically and terminologically, and in the first section: the Qur’anic verses related to the mind and their meaning.

It has two requirements:

The first requirement: Verses of reason in the Holy Qur’an.

The second requirement: Forms of addressing the mind in the Holy Qur’an

The second section is about: the jurisprudential dimensions of the mind.

It has two requirements:

The first requirement: Insanity in Islamic jurisprudence.

The second topic: The effect of insanity on physical worship.

Conclusion: It contains the most important results and recommendations of the research.
