Development programs of the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House

Abstract

The Egyptian Zakat and Charity House is an independent intity established by Law No. 123 of 2014, and supervised by His Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, who is an independent legal personality managed by a board of trustees of religious figures and public figures with diverse expertise concerned with collecting zakat and charity funds voluntarily to be spent in their legitimate banks. The Egyptian Zakat and Charity House seeks to achieve these goals, as it announces the Zakat House’s disbursements, and while the money received by the House is spent, zakat is one of the Islamic solutions to remove poverty, reduce social disparities, and achieve economic equality, through many development programs, which are limited to Following: . (Sanad) programme: cash support. . (Rahma) Program: Orphan Sponsorship, to care for orphans. . (SEHA) health and treatment services program . A housing and water connections program (covers and heaters) to restore and furnish the homes of the poor. . (Farha) Marriage Facilitation Program. . A humanitarian relief program to intervene in crises and disasters. . Education program supports school and university costs) . ( HIMAA Program) to care for disabled people . (Garmon and Garmat) program to care for debtors and families of prisoners. . Program :(TAMKEN) production Projects .
