Abstract

he research deals with the geopolitical importance of the East African region to Israel, because this region is characterized by the diversity and abundance of natural resources and important economic and human potential, which resulted in Israeli penetration into Africa in general and the East African region in particular, in all fields, especially the economic field.



the introduction:

The East African region has an important position in Israel, and the reason for this is the strategic and economic importance of this region and the diversity of natural resources. It was the economic and political motives that made Israel interested in establishing relations with the countries of the African continent in general and the countries of East Africa in particular. The reason for this is due to what... East African countries are distinguished by their important economic potential and natural and water resources.

East Africa is that triangular protrusion, located between East Africa, which overlooks the Indian Ocean, and the Gulf of Aden, and extends north along the Red Sea coast for a distance of 600 miles, and extends into the African continent to include Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan. As for the last two, they were included among the countries of the Horn of Africa due to the ethnic and linguistic overlap between them and the countries of the Horn of Africa.
