Abstract

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most

Merciful. All praise is due to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the one who has no prophet after him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, the One, the Unique, who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Him. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, the noblest of messengers and the seal of prophets. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, his family, his companions, and those who follow his guidance until the Day of Judgment.

Now to proceed with this research article. Its aim is to study the issues and juristic choices based on the concept of piety (war'a), which have been given attention by scholars and experts in all four schools of thought. Some of these fatwas have taken into consideration not only the agreed-upon sources of Islamic law - namely the Quran, Sunnah (Prophetic traditions), consensus (ijma'), and analogy (qiyas) - but also a significant principle among the foundations of religion: "piety". This research article focuses on studying these issues. I ask Allah Almighty to bless us with beneficial knowledge and make us benefit from what we have learned. May He grant us sincerity in our words and actions; He is our Helper and upon Him we rely. There is no power or strength except with Allah.
