The study seeks to monitor and analyze the official political discourse on the issue of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam in both {Egypt and Ethiopia} presented in news agencies (Egyptian Middle East and Ethiopian News Agency ENAA). By conducting a survey of news materials that dealt with the issue of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam mentioned in news agencies, using a survey and comparative approach, and using a discourse analysis form, this study was also based on the approach of discourse analysis theory. In monitoring, analyzing and interpreting the official Egyptian and Ethiopian political discourse towards the issue of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, while monitoring the theses, proof lines, frames of reference and effective forces presented by the Egyptian and Ethiopian news agencies (Asharq Al-Awsat - Ethiopian News Agency) in the period from July 1, 2021 to July 1, 2022.
