The role of the Decent Life Initiative on social networking sites in strengthening the mental image of the state

Abstract:



The study aimed to clarify the role of the Decent Life Initiative in strengthening the mental image of the state through the initiative’s pages on social networking sites. This study is one of the descriptive studies that used the survey method, both analytical and descriptive. The study was applied to a sample of social networking sites, which were represented in three sites (Face Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), by applying the theory of dependence on media and using a content analysis tool.

The study sought to identify the structural form of the social media pages of the Dignified Life Initiative, and to identify the technological influences of the social media pages of the Dignified Life Initiative, in addition to clarifying the form of the interactive elements on the social media pages of the Dignified Life Initiative, which are (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).



The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are:





-Social networking sites (Facebook - Twitter - Instagram) provided the feature of interaction between the sender and the recipient, which was represented in (the ability to comment and share the page or content). As for (the ability to send messages to the page), the Decent Life Initiative benefited from this feature only on my website ( Facebook - Instagram. As for the social networking site (Twitter), in order to obtain the feature of sending messages, the sender’s account must be verified.
