Abstract

The shrine of Thoth is located in the Great Temple of Abu Simbel, to the south of the facade of the Great Temple. It is a closed shrine for visitors, and many people do not know its existence.

It was discovered on February 16, 1874, by Mac Cullum, who was working as a photographer for Mrs. Emilia Edwards.

For the first time in a scientific publication, the article deals with describing the scenes depicted on the Western Wall and translating its texts.
