The role of digital platforms in the loss of values in Egyptian society

Abstract

In light of the spread of digital platforms and the ideas and values they present that may sometimes coincide or contradict societal values and culture, the individual acquires many values and behaviors through observing the behavior of others around him, and his integration with some of the dramatic characters that he follows through various media, and so the study aimed to Identifying the role of digital platforms in the spread of negative values in Egyptian society. The study was descriptive and relied on the media survey approach in its field part. Data was collected through a questionnaire tool. The study was applied to a deliberate sample of followers of digital platforms. The results reached a clear role for the contents of digital platforms in the spread of Negative values among the Egyptian public.
