Abstract

The paper is entitled "The Exterior music in Poetry of Ismail Sabry", The purpose is to study External rhythmic structure in the poetry, By using the descriptive approach, The study included three poems: Al-Nuniya, Al-Hamaziyah, and The Mirror of Time. This is due to the importance of poetic external music ,For its role in creating harmony between the parts of poetic poem, The poet can express all his aims and purposes to affect the recipient, So the poet paid attention to rhyme and adhered to it, Music is linked to the content of the text, the elements of style and artistic secrets, Which forms strong relationships that have made it a cohesive structure of the text. it is divided into: introduction, some points, A conclusion contains the most important results of study, and A list of sources and references. In the introduction, the researcher deals with the importance of the subject, the reasons for choosing it, the objectives of the study. The study focused on two research axes: studying the structure of poetic meter and studying the structure of rhymes, They are two essential parts of the poetic text. They distinguish poetic discourse from prose discourse.
