This study examines the schools and scientific centers in Lahj and their role in education from the 3rd century AH to the 9th century AH (200-858 AH / 812-1454 AD). The objective of the study was to identify the most prominent schools and scientific centers and their role in education, which played a significant role in the flourishing of cultural life in the district of Lahj. This led to a cultural renaissance that contributed to the emergence of many scholars in various sciences and numerous jurists who came to the district of Lahj to benefit from its scholars and transmit knowledge to their own regionhis study examines the schools and scientific centers in Lahj and their role in education from the 3rd century AH to the 9th century AH (200-858 AH / 812-1454 AD).
