This analytical study aims to provide a comprehensive vision of how Egyptian online newspapers handle education news in terms of form and content and to analyze the impact of this coverage on enhancing or reducing the audience’s occupational anxiety regarding their future. The study belongs to descriptive analytical research, as it analyzed the content of education news published on three Egyptian online news websites: Youm7, Al-Wafd, and Al-Ahram. The goal was to identify the level of attention given to educational issues and the extent to which these issues are highlighted as strategic societal concerns. The results revealed that Youm7 ranked first in the number of published educational materials, followed by Al-Wafd and then Al-Ahram. The study found that these sites tend to publish educational news in internal pages, with a predominance of direct news reporting and a lack of presenting multiple perspectives, as the percentage of presenting a single point of view reached 91.3%. The results also indicated a heavy reliance on official sources, which limited in-depth discussions on educational issues. This may contribute to increasing the audience’s occupational anxiety regarding their future, which is linked to the educational policies presented through this media coverage.
